One brief, not a hundred headlines

A brief reads like an article. It opens with the top story, ranks what is worth knowing next, then gives a section per topic. A story carried by several outlets becomes one line, and every line cites its source.

Written on your device

Briefs are generated by Apple Intelligence, on your iPhone. Your reading is not uploaded, not profiled, and not used to train anything. It works on a plane.

Reads itself aloud

Tap Listen and the brief is read to you, with the line being spoken highlighted as it goes. Arabic and English are each read in the right voice, even in the same brief.

Add anything with a feed

Paste an address and Lede finds the feed itself — RSS, Atom, RDF or JSON Feed. Or type a publication's name and search for it.

Arabic, properly

Tag feeds in Arabic, and different spellings of the same word stay one tag instead of two. Every headline, article and brief is laid out in its own direction.

No algorithm, no ads

Lede shows what you subscribed to, in the order it was published. Nothing is ranked, promoted, injected or sold.
